Our Projects & Internship Program connects learners with live, open-source–based projects, giving them a chance to collaborate, innovate, and contribute to the open digital ecosystem.

Types of Projects

Our projects are designed to combine creativity, technology, and social good.
Some key project categories include:

1. Open Source Application Development

   • Build PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap-based SaaS platforms.

   • Work on educational and management software tools.

2. Digital Design & Media Projects

   • Create open-source posters, logos, and awareness campaigns using Inkscape, Krita, and GIMP.

3. Community & Education Projects

   • Develop digital content for schools, NGOs, and rural centers.

   • Participate in digital literacy and “Open Tools for Education” campaigns.

4. Web Development & Data Projects

   • Build live websites for community programs.

   • Work with open data visualization and reporting tools.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing Arts, Commerce, Science, IT, Design, or Engineering courses.

• Must have basic knowledge of computers and open-source software.

• Passionate about learning and contributing to real-world social impact.

How It Works

1. Register Online:
   Submit your details through our project registration form.

2. Get Assigned to a Mentor:
   Based on your skills and interest, you’ll be connected with a mentor.

3. Start Working on a Live Project:
   You’ll receive project briefs, tools, and collaboration links.

4. Submit & Showcase:
   At the end, you’ll present your work to the OpenForm community and receive feedback.

5. Get Certified:
   Earn your internship completion certificate from Atharv Media – OpenForm Initiative.
