About the Training Network
The OpenForm Training Network is a community-driven educational ecosystem established by Atharv Media to promote Open Source Learning and Digital Empowerment across India.
Our mission is to build a network of training centers that use Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) to teach design, digital communication, and entrepreneurship — especially in rural and semi-urban regions.
We believe that every learner should have access to quality digital education without the barrier of expensive proprietary software.
Through the OpenForm Training Network, we are bridging the gap between education and employability.

The vision of OpenForm is to create an India where every youth can learn, create, and earn using open and free digital tools.
Network Model
Our Training Network operates under a collaborative model connecting multiple learning centers, trainers, and institutions.
Each center is independently managed but follows OpenForm’s curriculum, training standards, and certification process.
Types of Centers

Community Learning Centers – Set up in schools, colleges, or NGOs to provide FOSS-based education.

Independent Training Partners – Freelance trainers or professionals conducting certified workshops.

Online Learning Hubs – Virtual centers offering hybrid (online/offline) courses via OpenForm’s digital platform.

Institutional Collaborations – Colleges and training institutes collaborating with Atharv Media to expand access to open digital education.
How the Network Works
1️⃣ Curriculum Framework – All courses follow the OpenForm syllabus focused on open-source tools like Inkscape, GIMP, LibreOffice, Scribus, and Blender.
2️⃣ Trainer Support – Trainers receive free resources, digital modules, and project-based learning guides.
3️⃣ Certification System – Every student completing the course under any center receives an OpenForm Digital Certificate.
4️⃣ Performance Review – Centers are periodically reviewed based on training quality, student feedback, and digital outcomes.
5️⃣ Community Collaboration – All centers are connected through our shared communication platform and events like hackathons, design marathons, and open workshops.
